HOT! Professional Riders
Adding to the thrill is the Professional Criterium, which will be held on Friday night, 2 March at 8:30pm, catch the international cycling pros pit their skills against one another - under the stars! Phil Liggett, the voice of cycling, will be hosting this live television event.
Check out how professional cyclists from all over the world come together to race at OCBC Cycle Singapore 2012! Take in all of the action at our Professional Criterium, on Friday, 2 March, 2012 at 8:30pm. More than 60 local and international professional riders will pit their skills on a route that is sure to challenge their strength, endurance and bike handling abilities, in addition to putting their teamwork through the ultimate test.
Look out for some big names - as the full list of riders for the criterium will be revealed closer to event day.
NEW! The Super Challenge (59km)
If you want to push your limits and maximize your riding satisfaction, register for our latest category - the Super Challenge! Similar to The Challenge (39km), you will now be able to ride longer on a more scenic route which takes in spectacular views of the City. We took on board what you told us in last year's participant survey and now here's your chance to tackle one of the toughest and longest rides in town. This ride is limited to the first 1,500 cyclists to register, so don't miss out.
NEW! The Junior Challenge (30 min)
A more challenging category designed for older children, this ride is open to anyone between the ages of ten and twelve. The objective is to ride as fast as possible for 30 minutes.
